Sánchez is the first display family from Latinotype. An Egyptian, or slab-serif, bearing a strong resemblance to the iconic Rockwell, but with rounded edges— offering contrast and balance to the square structure, Sánchez comprises 12 variants, ranging from extra light to black, each of the same x-height. Regular and italic variants are available for free.
About the designer: Daniel Hernández S. was born in 1983 in Santiago, Chile. He is a graphic designer, educated at the Universidad Mayor and has a diploma in typography from the Pontificia Universidad Católica de Chile. In 2007 he and Luciano Vergara co-founded the Latinotype™ type foundry.
